Ottawa Public Health has officially announced the start of flu season – what does this mean for you?

We strongly encourage everyone aged 6 months and older to get their flu vaccine.

If you are over 65 and you receive your flu vaccine through Ottawa Public Health clinic, please contact your doctor’s office. We will add this information to your chart.

 Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are limited in the number of vaccines that we can offer this year.

Where can you get your flu vaccine?

If you are 2 years of age and older:

• You can receive the flu vaccine at any participating pharmacy, please see the full list here
• Pharmacies can administer either the regular dose OR high-dose flu vaccines for people 65 years
  and older)
• If you are over 65 and the high-dose shot is not available, the regular flu vaccine is a
  reasonable alternative

If you are booking a child aged 6 months – 2 years, or do not have a valid OHIP card:
